Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has covered The Bangles’ ‘Manic Monday’ as a part of his No Fun Mondays quarantine sessions.

‘Manic Monday’, wrote by Prince, is another track Billie Joe decided to play to his followers from his home sofa with the help of Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles.
The Green Day frontman previously covered ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ by Tommy James and the Shondells (later made famous by Tiffany) and ‘You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory’ by Johnny Thunders as part of the Covid-19 isolation initiative connecting him with fans watching from their devices.

“While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music… I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together.” said Billie Joe about the No Fun Mondays sessions.
